Café de Maraba from Rwanda
Delicious whole-bean Maraba Coffee is handpicked, mostly during the rainy season between March and May, and brought to a washing station in Maraba, where the coffee beans are extracted and dried. At several stages, the beans are sorted by local Maraban women according to quality. The small holder farmers receive credits based on the amount and quality of the beans they provide.
Each 1 lb. bag of coffee beans comes inside a cloth sack (patterns will vary) made in Rwanda by Amani ya Juu, a widows sewing cooperative.
